Songwriting

In 2020, when the pandemic forced everyone to take a look inside themselves, I decided to try my hand at songwriting, drawing from my own lived experiences to fuel lyric creation. Not only did I truly enjoy creating music this way, I was good at it. Creating songs is a way of bridging my love of poetry with my passion for music. Writing the lyrics of a song is not unlike writing a poem, although good lyrics can’t always be read as a standalone poem. Soon I plan to release an EP of my songs.
